What is Glycolic Acid?
La Thérapie Glycolic Acid is produced from Sugarcane and has the smallest molecular structure out of all AHA's (Alpha Hydroxy Acids).
How does it work?
Glycolic Acid creates a pathway into the deeper layers of the skin. It breaks down the harsh outer layer (Stratum Corneum and Stratum Disjunction) where excessive build-up of dead skin cells exists. This build up contains pigmentation irregularities and exaggerated peaks and valleys creating the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. No other skincare product has such small molecules which means they get trapped much closer to the skin stopping them from penetrating the newer skin cells closer to the Dermis.
